Opsera's policy framework lets site admins control which vault stores tool credentials — critical for security and compliance.
How it works
Enable policy for vault management in Settings → Policies.
Register vault in Tool Registry (Hashicorp or Thycotic).
Choose vault during new tool registration or add it later via the Vault tab.
Enabling the policy
Log in → Settings → Policies.
Under All, click Enable Custom Vault for Tool Registry.
Configure the popup: toggle Enforce Vault Settings to preselect vault for all tools (greys out the option for users). Select Vault Type and Vault Instance, then click Activate Policy.
