Role-based access control

Restrict who can view, edit, or manage each tool. RBAC lets administrators secure sensitive integrations.

Lock icon meanings

Gray lock: Tool is protected.

Only users with specific roles can access or configure it.Orange lockTool is open — anyone in the organization can access it.

Managing RBAC on a single tool

  1. Open a tool and go to its Summary tab.

  2. Click the pencil icon beside Access Rules.

  3. Under Add New Access Rule, select Group, User, or Site Role.

  4. Search for the group/user and assign a role: Guest User Manager Administrator

  5. Click Add, then choose Append Rules (keep existing) or Overwrite Rules (replace all).

Bulk RBAC update

  1. Select multiple tools using checkboxes.

  2. Click Apply RBAC for Tools → security icon.
