Access In-depth Pipeline Level Data in Microsoft Teams Notifications

A capability has been introduced to enhance notifications within Microsoft Teams, making them more informative and actionable. This helps teams in managing their pipelines by allowing members to easily see who approved each step and whether tasks are completed or still pending, thus providing a clearer view of the pipeline’s status. Additionally, including Build Numbers and Artifact IDs enables teams to track specific builds and related artifacts more effectively, improving management and traceability of deployments.

Enhance Argo Deployment Approvals with Slack Notifications

As you configure Slack notifications for your Argo deployments within Opsera Pipelines, the notification messages will include relevant Argo image information related to your deployments, offering clear insights into their status. With this information readily available, approvers can make more informed decisions regarding the approval or rejection of deployments, taking into account the potential impacts.

Additional Capabilities

Support for newer Versions for iOS Build Pipeline

When setting up build steps for iOS applications using the Xcode job type in Opsera Pipelines, users can select the deployment version. Additionally, users have the option to choose version 16.1.

Streamlined Component Selection for Task Schedules

New capabilities are added to improve the user experience when selecting component types for tasks schedules within Salesforce Task workflows.

  • Dual-Tab Interface: The previous dropdown selection method has been replaced with a dual-tab interface, enhancing the navigation during the component selection process. This updated visual layout enables users to select multiple types simultaneously or even choose all options at once, rather than having to click through each individual choice.

  • Pre-Configured Templates for Component Autoselection: Users can utilize pre-defined templates when planning bulk migration tasks. By choosing from available templates, Opsera automatically selects components based on the selected template. This reduces the need for manual input and minimizes errors during the configuration process.

Reusable Templates for Salesforce Bulk Migration Workflows

Users can streamline the initiation of Bulk Migrations by saving their configured components as templates during the workflow setup process. This allows users to easily select previously saved templates for future migrations, ensuring consistent configurations across multiple projects and minimizing discrepancies in component selection.

With this capability, users can significantly reduce setup time and improve the reliability of their migration processes.

Capability to Validate Salesforce Components for Smoother Integration and Workflow Reliability

Opsera has introduced a capability, targeting the validation of components when retrieving them from Salesforce or Git, during workflow executions.

This validation is performed immediately after users select Salesforce components, and the status of the component retrieval is tracked across various methods—whether components are uploaded via CSV/XML files, or manually selected based on date and component type. A centralized view of the validation progress provides real-time updates on operational status, ensuring that users are working with the correct versions of resources and that all dependencies are satisfied before executing workflows.

The validation process includes:

  • Verifying the status of Git repositories and branches in Git-based workflows.

  • Ensuring proper authentication with Salesforce Org in Org-based workflows.

During validation, real-time feedback is provided on any errors encountered. Users will receive specific error messages if issues arise, such as exceeding API rate limits, allowing users to address issues proactively.

Easy Access to Package & Destructive XML in Validate and Deploy Step Reports

Users will have access to the package XML and destructive XML generated during their deployments, which will be included in the reports for both the Validate and Deploy steps of a pipeline. This capability provides greater visibility into the deployment process, enabling users to easily review the components being deployed as well as any modifications that may impact existing configurations.

Improved Lock Mechanism for Salesforce Wizards

The handling of the access feature screen has been modified to be more dynamic during Salesforce Wizard interactions. Previously, users were required to verify an access button due to an automatic lock mechanism, each time they needed to access the wizard.

With this release update, these locks will no longer be applied by default. Instead a lock mechanism will only appear, if another user is currently utilizing the screen and further the access feature screen will be displayed, only after the current user has completed the designated lock timing.

Zoom-in Capability for the GitHub Copilot Report KPIs

A zoom-in capability has been introduced to the existing charts on the Copilot Report dashboard, specifically for the following metrics: Adoption, Acceptance Rate, Suggestion Retention Rate, Developer Activity, and Impact.

Users can click on a dedicated zoom-in icon associated with each chart, which expands the visual representation to a full-width view. This enlarged view not only provides a clearer perspective but also allows users to modify the date range and select different GitHub organizations for a more granular analysis of trends.
