Release Update 09/13/2024

Salesforce

Opsera has launched the newly redesigned Salesforce Landing Page, enhancing user experience and providing users with immediate visibility into the latest features, updates, and enhancements that have been made to the Salesforce workflows.

The redesigned landing page features a banner with recent updates, keeping you up to date. With a Quick Links panel, users can directly access Component Lookup, Pipeline Instruction, Dependency Analyser, and Salesforce Insights.

The redesign prioritizes usability by presenting Pipeline Deployment statistics and Track Usage KPI. Whether you’re tracking usage or analyzing deployment success rates, the KPI equips you with the information needed to optimize your workflows effectively.

Enhanced view for users while managing permissions and profiles in Salesforce merge sync tasks

The Enhanced View will now be the default interface when managing user permissions and profiles. This capability aims to improve the user experience for administrators by providing a more intuitive and streamlined approach to handling Profiles and Permission Sets. The interface includes additional functionalities such as search options making it simpler to locate specific profiles or permission sets.

Integration of Tricentis Tosca with Opsera for Enhanced Test Automation

Opsera introduces the integration of Tricentis Tosca that will significantly enhance the test automation capabilities available to users. This integration allows for a more streamlined and efficient testing process within the CI/CD pipeline.

Users can now easily add Tricentis Tosca to their existing toolset within the Opsera environment. This integration simplifies the setup process, allowing teams to quickly incorporate automated testing into their workflows without extensive configuration. After each execution of automated tests, users can access the detailed analytics and reports.

Additional SDLC Capabilities

  • Dynamic Sample CSV Download

Users can download a valid sample CSV file tailored to the selected SCM type (e.g., Bitbucket) while performing SCM to SCM Migrations. Opsera will automatically display the appropriate sample based on the user’s selection, minimizing errors during the upload process by providing clear examples of how the data should be formatted.

  • Capability to create new repositories when pushing images to Azure ACR Previously, users were limited to selecting existing repositories when pushing images to Azure ACR. With this capability, users now have the option to either use an existing repository or create a new one directly during the Azure ACR Push step.

  • Hummingbird AI generated pull requests for Pipeline Migration workflows

An AI-generated pull request will be created automatically after the Pipeline migration from GitLab to GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions is completed successfully. This capability solves a significant challenge for developers, namely lower success rates for GHA XML conversion.
