UI Improvements to optimize the user experience within Copilot dashboards
To enhance the usability and functionality of the heat map in your dashboard, the following changes have been implemented.
For the Developer Adoption Metric, the heatmap range numbers are added to the heatmap legend. The heat-map will include the total active chat users alongside the existing total active users for each day. In addition, navigation buttons are introduced for easier movement through the heatmap.
Introduction of a date range on the top-right end of the dashboard.
In the Github app for insights tool settings, users can edit the execution schedule for pulling data from GitHub into Opsera’s Copilot Reports.
The chart previously known as “Copilot Suggestions vs Lines of Code Accepted” has been updated to “Copilot Impact.” This change aims to offer a more comprehensive view of Copilot’s impact by incorporating both IDE suggestions and Chat interactions in a clear and informative manner. The “Copilot Suggestions” trend now encompasses the total lines of code suggested by the IDE combined with the total turns of Copilot Chat. On the other hand, the “Copilot Generated Code” graph represents the code accepted by the developer from both the IDE and Copilot Chat.
