Improved Dynamic Branch Handling for Queued Salesforce Pipeline Runs

An enhancement has been introduced for pipelines using dynamic branch settings in Salesforce deployments. This capability improves how branch selection is handled for queued pipeline runs.

Key Highlights:

• Individual Branch Preservation: Each queued pipeline run retains its own specified branch setting, ensuring that dynamic branch assignments accurately persist even when multiple runs are initiated in succession.

• Elimination of Cross-Run Errors: Branch updates applied in Pre Run Tasks only affect the intended run, removing the risk of cross-run branch configuration errors.

• Improved Auditability and Transparency: Console logs display the correct branch per execution, empowering teams with improved traceability.

The interface now emphasizes security, recent activity, and actionable metrics, streamlining monitoring and management for every user.

• Visual Summaries: Essential metrics like total tasks, scan activity, and dashboard counts are instantly visible in redesigned summary cards for easy, at-a-glance assessment.

• Real-Time Alerts & Quick Access: Users see weekly tasks and scan stats, counts of new vulnerable commits, and alert banners for critical issues, including open vulnerabilities and dashboards missing tags, in an enhanced view.

Refined Commits and Pull Request Stats Expanded Views

The Commits Stats and Pull Request Statistics KPI expand views have been refined to present a cleaner and more focused data experience.

Key Highlights

• Simplified Data Presentation: Total Commits and Total PRs have been removed from the expanded views for Commits Stats and PR Stats.

• Improved Readability: Users can focus on per-period or per-repository breakdowns without distractions from cumulative values

• Consistent Data Context: Summary totals remain accessible in the main dashboard for reference, ensuring no loss of key information.

Enhancements for Executive Summary in GitHub Copilot Reports

The Executive Summary in Copilot has been updated to deliver clearer and more consistent performance reporting, supporting better executive decision-making through improved data representation and terminology.

Key Highlights

• Revised Status Color: The status indicator color has been changed from green to black to prevent misunderstanding performance as overly positive and to align with reporting standards.

• Expanded Filters Integration: Workday Hierarchy, Vendor, and Geolocation filters have been incorporated into the report. All applied filters are now displayed clearly in the report header for full context.

• Trend Context Added: An explanatory note has been introduced to clarify that upward or downward trends reflect changes between the current and previous periods, enhancing data interpretability.

Enhanced Date Selection in GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) and Custom Dashboards

The GHAS and Custom Dashboards now offer improved flexibility for date-based analysis. Users can select a custom date range in addition to the existing custom month option, making it easier to review and compare data for any desired period. This enhancement supports more precise reporting and helps teams align insights with their specific review cycles.

Exclude Option Added to Sonar Dashboards and Tool Filters

An exclude option has been introduced in Sonar Dashboards to enhance analysis flexibility and allow users to refine their data views more efficiently. With this enhancement, users can now selectively exclude tools or metrics from dashboard filters without losing context or applied KPI-level settings. This improvement enables more focused analysis and easier comparison across different code reliability metrics.

• Exclude Option in Tool Filters: Users can now remove specific tools or repositories from their data view to focus on relevant sources.

• Exclude Option in Sonar Dashboards: Exclude functionality is available in Sonar Ratings, Code Coverage Trend, and Code Coverage Table KPIs.
