Copilot Contribution Report Enhancements

The Copilot Contribution Report has been improved to give teams customizable views, more accurate exports, and clearer contribution data. This helps teams make better decisions about Copilot use, productivity, and developer involvement.

Key Highlights:

  • Customizable View: Users can now select which columns to display, with their preferences saved in the dashboard settings for a consistent and personalized experience.

  • Aligned Export Functionality: Exported reports now accurately reflect the columns selected in the dashboard, providing precise and relevant exported data.

  • Simplified Default Metrics: The default report view includes only these columns: Language, Number of Developers, Number of Copilot Developers, and Total Lines Written.by Copilot Users, Copilot Accepted, and % Copilot Acceptance. This ensures a sharper focus on actionable insights with unnecessary fields removed.

  • Removed Monthly Bar Chart: The Contribution Report monthly bar chart has been removed to streamline the report interface.

Introducing Kanban Velocity KPI for Sprint Velocity Dashboard

Velocity KPI for Kanban Boards, has been introduced in Sprint Velocity dashboards to track the average number of issues or story points completed within a specified timeframe on Kanban-based Jira boards. This KPI offers valuable insights into team throughput, enhances workflow efficiency, and supports accurate forecasting of delivery capacity.

Key Highlights:

  • Dynamic Visualization: Displays a bar chart with time grouping by days, weeks, or months based on the selected date range to show trends clearly.

  • Effort and Quantity Views: Allows toggling between viewing velocity as story points (effort) or issue count (quantity).

  • Trend Analysis: Provides percentage comparisons between current and previous periods to track performance changes.

  • Detailed Drill-Down: Offers drill-down reports grouped by weeks, including comprehensive issue-level metadata for transparency.

Enhanced Velocity KPI for Comprehensive Sprint Insights

The Scrum Team Velocity KPI table has been upgraded to provide teams with multi-layer visibility into velocity metrics, spanning projects, scrum boards, and individual scrum teams for better data-driven sprint management.

Key Highlights:

  • Expanded Drill-Down Views: The table offers three distinct tabs, Velocity by Projects, Velocity by Scrum Teams, and Capacity, facilitating focused and organized analysis.

  • Deeper Project Insights: The Velocity by Projects tab adds a layer displaying Scrum Boards within Jira Projects, enhancing visibility into project structure and progress.

  • Targeted Scrum Team Analysis: A dedicated tab for Velocity by Scrum Teams presents a clear hierarchy from Hierarchy Project through Scrum Teams to Jira Projects for precise team-level evaluation.

  • Comprehensive Sprint Tracking: A new column displaying the total number of sprints provides additional context to understand and analyze historical velocity trends.

PR Comment Density for Improved Review Insights

The PR Comment Density metric has been introduced in the DevEx Dashboard to improve visibility into code review quality and team collaboration. By tracking the average number of comments per pull request, development teams can better assess review effectiveness and promote higher code quality.

Key Highlights:

  • Improved Review Quality: Enables teams to measure the depth of feedback, ensuring code reviews go beyond approvals to deliver meaningful improvements.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Provides leaders with measurable indicators of review engagement, supporting continuous improvement in code quality and delivery practices.

Additional Filter Operator Added to Pipeline Stats KPI Table

The filter options in the Pipeline Stats KPI table have been expanded to include the "does not contain" and "does not include" operator. This capability allows pipelines lacking specific steps to be excluded from search results, providing users with greater precision and control in pipeline analysis.

Introducing Context-Aware AI Navigation Assistance in Opsera’s Hummingbird AI

Opsera’s Hummingbird AI includes context-aware AI Navigation Assistance, enabling the AI agent to automatically detect the user’s current module or page within the platform. Users can benefit from context-specific guidance and support aligned with their current workflow.

Organization User Management & Admin Tools Enhancements

User management functionalities have been significantly streamlined and secured for large organizations within Admin Tools.

Key Enhancements

  • Centralized Administration: User settings and registered user management are now managed under Organization Settings, ensuring that only admin users at the organization level can control user status and access. Opsera Admins have the ability to activate and deactivate users directly within user detail views, providing more effective and responsive user control.

Enhanced Safety and Governance: Accidental actions when deploying tenant environments are prevented with a confirmation dialog, explicitly warning of risks; the action button is now hidden for child accounts to further protect against unintended deletions.
