Opsera Launches Internal Developer Platform - Centralized Resource Management for Smarter CI/CD (Beta)
Opsera introduces its Internal Developer Platform (IDP) —a centralized, self-service environment to provision, manage, and connect development resources such as AWS EC2 instances, GitHub repositories, and other connected tools directly within Opsera.
By separating resource management from pipeline setup, the IDP helps teams deliver faster, maintain consistent control, and easily scale across projects of any size. The IDP Hub offers secure, role-based access to the right tools when needed, with detailed audit logs that provide full visibility and ensure compliance.
Key Capabilities:
Centralized Resource Management
The IDP Hub offers a unified interface where teams can view, manage, and secure all development resources in one place while enforcing role-based access controls to ensure proper governance.
Catalog Templates
Template-driven provisioning: Quickly customize resources for dev, staging, or production environments.
Broad coverage: Supports AWS (EC2, S3, RDS), Git repos, Jira, PagerDuty, and more.
Seamless integration: Provisioned resources instantly available in Opsera pipelines and workflows.
Scalability: Standardized, repeatable setup across teams and environments at enterprise scale.
Logs and Audit Trails
Run History: Each template execution is tracked with detailed logs providing status, console output, and error messages for troubleshooting.
Resource Usage Logs: Every time a resource is created, updated, or used in workflows, the event is logged automatically for traceability.
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
The IDP enforces Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) consistent with the site-wide user roles applied across the Opsera platform. For a comprehensive overview of the roles, permissions, and best practices, please refer to the detailed Opsera IDP - RBAC documentation.
Please note that RBAC is an entitlement-based feature. To enable or configure this capability for your organization, reach out to [email protected].
Introducing Opsera’s Next-Generation AI-Powered Insights and Remediation — Embedded Across the Platform
Opsera is excited to announce a major leap forward in intelligent pipeline and workflow analysis with its fully integrated AI assistant - Hummingbird AI.
Accessible from any page, the assistant allows users to ask questions or request insights in real time. It continuously learns from feedback, delivering increasingly relevant, accurate, and actionable recommendations.
A Unified, Intelligent Assistant at Your Fingertips
Holistic visibility: Understand pipeline and task health without combing through scattered alerts or raw metrics.
Automated guidance: Get AI-driven summaries, anomaly detection, and remediation advice that reduce mean-time-to-resolution.
Proactive monitoring: Detect risks early and receive predictive actions to prevent escalation.
What’s Next
Opsera will continue to enhance and expand these AI capabilities, delivering ever more powerful predictive insights, automation, and contextual assistance to help teams build and deliver software faster and more reliably.
Introducing REST APIs for Pipeline Parameter Management
Opsera offers a powerful new set of public REST APIs that lets you create, retrieve, update, and delete pipeline parameters. Previously, parameter management was limited to internal APIs accessed through the UI. With this update, teams can now integrate directly via secure, standards-compliant APIs, enabling greater automation, CI/CD integration, and connectivity with external systems.
Supported API Operations:
List Pipeline Parameters
Get Pipeline Parameter by ID
Create Pipeline Parameter
Update Pipeline Parameter by ID
Delete Pipeline Parameter by ID
Salesforce
Support Added for AI-Powered GenAiPlannerBundle in Salesforce Workflow
Opsera supports the new Salesforce component type, GenAiPlannerBundle, within Salesforce Workflow. This enables teams to supercharge their automation with AI-driven planning and intelligent decision-making.
Capability to Disable API-Based Auto-Inclusion for Unmapped Apex Classes
A configuration option has been introduced in the Org Apex Matrix to give teams finer control over test execution. By enabling this option, teams gain finer control over which test classes execute during automated tests by excluding those Apex classes that are not explicitly mapped in the matrix.
Key Highlights:
Improved Test Accuracy: Prevents unexpected test executions by limiting runs only to explicitly mapped Apex test classes.
Reduced Noise in Test Results: Avoids irrelevant or unintended test classes being executed automatically, making results easier to interpret.
Unified Insights
Introduction of Trend Visualization and Advanced Filtering in Copilot Contribution Report
The Copilot Dashboard has been enhanced to provide intuitive insights into programming language usage. In addition to the existing language distribution table, trends are now visually represented through bar graphs and line graphs, making it easier to compare Copilot usage across different programming languages and teams.
Key Highlights:
Powerful Visual Analytics: Compare Copilot usage and trends at a glance with new bar and line graphs, making it easier than ever to visualize adoption across programming languages and teams.
Advanced GitHub Teams Filtering: Drill down into the data with GitHub Team filters for focused, granular analysis tailored to your reporting needs.
Richer Key Metrics: Instantly track Copilot Acceptance Rate and Copilot Adoption Rate trends, now surfaced front-and-center to highlight real adoption and impact.
Interactive Language Deep-Dive: Click any language in the report to unlock a detailed timeline view, see how usage evolves.
Enhancements to DevEx Dashboards
Seamlessly Switch Between Bar and Line Charts in DevEx Dashboard Drill Downs
Users have the capability to instantly switch between bar and line chart views within all drill-down metric sections, thereby enabling a more suitable visualization of trends for their specific analyses.
