Terraform Plan & Apply Workflows

Plan, review, and apply infrastructure changes with approval gates — supported for Terraform Cloud and Enterprise.

Fully configure the Plan step before creating an Apply step. Supported for Terraform Cloud and Enterprise only.

Plan + Apply (Combined Step)

Add a Terraform step → Job Type: Execute → enter Terraform Tool, Organization Name, Workspace → Terraform Step: Plan and Apply. Configure input/output parameter mappings, then Save.

Apply Step (Separate)

Add a second Terraform step → Job Type: Execute → Terraform Step Action: Apply → choose the Plan step from same pipeline. Map input/output parameters.

For approval-gated workflows: create separate Plan and Apply pipeline steps with an Approval Process step between them.

View Cost Estimation Reports

Open pipeline → Summary Logs

Select a Run and the Plan or Plan+Apply step from the left pane.

Click the Report row

View: Resource, Name, Hourly Cost, Monthly Cost, Monthly Delta.

Export

Click the export icon → Export option →Export Data to download.
